Met friends for a late lunch, so it was fairly quiet but still a nice atmosphere in the bar. We shared 2 starters between 4 of us (baked Camembert and the ravioli), then the mains were cheeseburger, chicken club sandwich, chicken Kyiv and the flat iron steak. All food was well cooked and presented and tasted great. Service was quite slow, as we weren’t in a rush that was absolutely fine for us but if you are watching the clock you might find that a little frustrating. Would definitely return

Brilliant pub! Great food, great atmosphere. Charlie is always really welcoming and has great wine recommendations. We love it here!

Nice meal at my local pub.. always have a great meal at this place and highly recommend..

Always great in The Morgon, staff are on the hall and really friendly. Would have preferred more Vegan options, only main course was a plant burger which was lovely but they used to have other vegan dishes too.

This is my favourite local pub.. been coming here for years.. we had the seabass as a main course which was great.. my only criticism is it would be nice to have some more fish variety like seabass, perhaps sea bream and salmon too? Also we used to like the flat iron chicken with the side slaw which they don’t seem to do anymore. Nice pub overall though and always my go to

Hi Adam, Thank you for your kind words, we love to hear we are your favourite local! We do also have a hot smoked salmon dish on the menu but completely appreciated the feedback on having more variety. We are launching our Autumn dishes this week so keep an eye out for new fish dishes and specials as we go into Autumn. It has now been around 2 years since the flat iron chicken left our menu but its great to hear it is still remembered as a stand out! As our menu develops we have introduced new dishes such as the chicken kyiv which I feel could rival the flat iron chicken as it has received very positive feedback so far. I had lunch with a friend from Malta. Food was very tasty and well presented. The service was wonderful and the person serving us was very friendly and helpful. We both enjoyed very much nd definitely will return.

Disappointed was looking forward to this meal. Booked a long time in advance. Frozen chips tiny portion of peas overdone batter. My friends had overcooked fish ( sea bass option) and burnt potatoes and tiny portion of spinach. For the price was expecting a gastropub. Wine was very nice and service was very attentive and friendly . Atmosphere was good.
