Disappointed was looking forward to this meal. Booked a long time in advance. Frozen chips tiny portion of peas overdone batter. My friends had overcooked fish ( sea bass option) and burnt potatoes and tiny portion of spinach. For the price was expecting a gastropub. Wine was very nice and service was very attentive and friendly . Atmosphere was good.

Incredibly slow, cold food, the people working there were not fussed at all about service but just chatting to each other. Used to be such a great pub 10 years ago, now I have couldn’t go again

The staff are polite friendly helpful and very attentive. The atmosphere is very pleasant

We sat in the restaurant portion of the pub. All of the food was really good - mostly did share plates. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

I'm afraid my visit this time was disappointing. I booked Sunday roast for 4 ppl and we ordered roast chicken. The chicken was very dry as were the roast potatoes. This was probably because it was 7pm and the food had been sitting around. I was treating friends and had told them how nice the food had been in the past but it clearly was not on this occasion. I would suggest that the roast is taken off the menu later in the day if it not up to standard. As it was I paid full price for it and it was a very disappointing experience.

Enjoyed a really lovely roast in a sunny spot, looked after by friendly and helpful staff. Only thing I could fault was the Yorkshire pudding which was on the anaemic side; other than that, 5-stars.

Lovely pub in Bow with great food and nice vibe. I ususally visit this with my son when I go to visit him at Queen Mary's. And they have 0.5% Luck Saint unfiltered lager on tap!
