The Melody Whisky Bar & Lounge takes its name from one of Britain’s most beloved films of the same name, “Melody”, which has gained an international cult following since its release in 1971. The bar is on the site of what was originally St Paul’s school and was chosen as the location for “Melody”, a story of youth and first love.

                                          It was a nice experience - very family friendly and cozy. The space looked so beautiful both inside and out and was decorated well for the festive season. The food was also really good - the potatoes were heavenly and the parsnips and carrots were very tasty, same for the Tonka Bean ice cream.

                                          The worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The waiting staff are trying hard, but seem to have never been in a restaurant before. The food on the menu is not what appears on the plate (gravadlax is smoked salmon CURED in dill… not just emptied out the packet). The started advertised as coming with ‘sourdough’ came with crackers. We were told “we don’t have bread” This is a restaurant with NO BREAD! When it did arrive the food was cold and undercooked. They even tried to save on gravy! The whole thing feels like a scam set up to exploit unlucky people who have been gifted vouchers. On the plus side it became funny after a while, and they did take the drinks off the bill (but not before the waiter tipped one on us and then tried to serve the same bottle!) check it out if you want to write a sitcom.

                                          We ordered 3 Courses with a Glass Champagne set menu for only 30.00. Though there's limited choices, the food was good and the amount of food is really large. We 4 people went there on Saturday night. So it was crowded and the service is bit slow. Overall, it's really worth for money!

                                          I have eaten here a couple of times previously and enjoyed it. We enjoyed the meal, although the lamb main course had a bit of a fatty lamb taste. The rest of the meal was fine. The setting is very refined and the service was good.
