The Mayfair Chippy is a quintessentially British restaurant with an emphasis on great fish dishes, serving only the freshest produce to the highest standards.
Fish & Chips is the specialty, but we also serve traditional classic British dishes such as our famous Shepherd’s Pie and Steak & Kidney Pudding. To complement the fabulous food, we also offer a selection of world wines and retro cocktails.
Located in the heart of Mayfair our independent restaurant boasts 1 AA Rosette, we are also proud to appear in the Michelin Guide 2016.
We are open 7 days a week for Lunch and Dinner, with the addition of our new Weekend Brunch menu, not only can you stay, you can also take away.

This place is fantastic. Food was spectacular, service was great, and space was clean. Only complaint was the temperature was a tad warm, but it had been a warm day.

The food was delicious and the staff were very pleasant, Recommend making a reservation though. We made our reservation and were immediately seated even though there was a line over two blocks long. Excellent service!

Top ingredients and amazingly tasting fish and chips! Fried halloumi was very good! Fried calamari was average. Great service and a happy staff!

OMG the fish and chips was off the charts and the service exceptional. I will never look at cod the same way ever again.

È uno dei must per quando sono a Londra. Per me the best fish and chips in town. Margherita e Luca sono dei padroni di casa squisiti e professionali. Prenotate con largo anticipo se non volete fare una lunga fila d'attesa.

I don’t often write reviews but Mayfair Chippy deserves a great one! Excellent food and service. We had a large party ( in a very small restaurant) and staff accommodated us without exception. Connor, Maggie and the rest were funny and professional Absolutely suggest making reservations ( I made ours 3 weeks out) They do take walk ins but there will be a wait, the queue was long. Definitely go for the Cod batter fish- more flavor. Oysters and prawns were excellent!! One of my colleagues had the Shepards pie and loved it. Thank you Mayfair Chippy!!

Maybe you should have two queues for walk ins and reservations or even have just one person deal with the queue. We made a booking and was waiting in the queue as our table wasn’t quite ready - we were greeted by a guy server who said it wont be too long. This one lady server who was oblivious to the surroundings then came out to get us to sit us down outside in the rain and scolded at us when we said we would wait. The first guy server who knew we were waiting for our reserved table came back out to apologise and said our table is getting ready. That one woman almost ruined our rather pleasant experience at your restaurant.

The staff there were excellent. I can’t say enough on how great their service was. Food was fantastic. My husband had the cod fish and chips. I had the mussels. And the chocolate mousse that probably saved my husband and I from a bad accident. I visited from the US and had internet issues. Our server convinced us to try the chocolate mousse. The Underground was shut down due to a fire, which we missed because our server talked us into chocolate mousse for dessert. I returned to the restaurant to get connections to their WiFi and order an Uber. They were very helpful and went out of their way to assist. They genuinely cared. Made it back to my hotel safely. We definitely recommend this restaurant.
