The Mayfair Chippy is a quintessentially British restaurant with an emphasis on great fish dishes, serving only the freshest produce to the highest standards.
Fish & Chips is the specialty, but we also serve traditional classic British dishes such as our famous Shepherd’s Pie and Steak & Kidney Pudding. To complement the fabulous food, we also offer a selection of world wines and retro cocktails.
Located in the heart of Mayfair our independent restaurant boasts 1 AA Rosette, we are also proud to appear in the Michelin Guide 2016.
We are open 7 days a week for Lunch and Dinner, with the addition of our new Weekend Brunch menu, not only can you stay, you can also take away.

The classic cod was so fresh and not overwhelmed by the batter. It was light and crispy. I thoroughly enjoyed that. The fish came with chunky chips, tartar, curry gravy and mushy peas( which I do not ever eat) The service was very impressive. I felt like a bit of a star, the staff kept asking me if I was alright 😂 definitely going back 👌🏽

Food delicious but sitting at back of restaurant is too noisy. Plus not much space.

This place is a lovely little find. The food is superb, it’s clean, great staff, super busy (queues outside when we arrived for our pre booked table at 8pm and when we left about 90 mins later). I had coronation chicken starter and the cod and chips. Husband had oysters and haddock and chips. Both superb. The curry sauce is to die for - it’s kind of Smokey. Amazing. Will come back again another time. Thanks

While the food was spectacular, the service was not. The staff are not polite at all. I booked a table for 3pm and we arrived 10 minutes earlier. We were greeted but an inpatient man who rudely told us to come back when it’s 3pm. Our booking was made almost a month in advance and yet, we were seated in the worse location. I asked if we could be moved and the server did not even attempt to accommodate our request. Service is really really terrible.

Awesome food! You get lil treat bag after your meal which is a nice touch. Definitely book in before you go otherwise you’ll be waiting in long queue until next table is available 👍🏻

Fish and chips were very good and thanks to the excellent staff we had a wonderful meal here for my child's birthday.

Food was delicious. We have tasted fish and chips and muscles. Service was good also and the price was fair for this quality.
