Founded in 2008 with a purpose of creating an atmosphere of a European downtown feel with an urban NorthWest environment The Loft aimed to create an upscale/casual eating experience in the downtown Edmonds community.
With its distinctive black chandeliers, the wallpaper covered surfaces, the backlit white Onyx bar-top and an exclusive courtyard with bamboo planted walls, The Loft is an intimate and unique place for any occasion.
Offering small & medium size plates with Mediterranean flair (mostly from Greece and Italy) the menu is changing seasonally to reflect each season’s fresh ingredients.
A well picked list of hand crafted cocktails and a good selection of wines promises to satisfy all tastes.

I love this place, I’ve been going here for years and every time the food is absolutely wonderful and the people that work there so nice as well.

Haven’t been back to this place in over 10 years and it’s still wonderful! Xavier was perfect for our girls night! So warm, kind and efficient. Food was very tasty! We ordered the pastry feta, sliders, Greek salad, artichoke dip, fish tacos, and French fries. Every bite was devoured! Thank you Paula and Niko for always being so wonderful!

We only had the small plates and drinks, but the mains we saw at nearby tables looked good too. Service was a little slow and haphazard, but the small plates were excellent (artichoke dip, burrata, prawns).

The dishes are consistently good at the Loft. My favorites inlcude the grilled salmon, burgers, and the carbonara. The Caesar salad is also excellent. The servers are professional and the back patio is nice on a warm day.

The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned! There was no rush, no lack of service. Couldn’t be happier with our time there.

Sadly, Loft continues to decline. It's a lovely, cozy spot, but its formerly adventurous menu has been replaced with much more standard fare, albeit well done. Last night there were only a couple of entrees that appealed to my wife and I; we both settled on the pork souvlaki, which was fine. But clearly cost-cutting is uppermost in the minds of the management, not customer service. Any restaurant at this level that still requires customers to scan a bar code to get to a menu and only has very well-worn and crumpled thin photocopies of menus as back-up (both my wife's phone and mine had trouble retrieving the online version), doesn't get the concept of service. Add to that entrees that were brought to the table only a couple of minutes after we'd received our appetizers - we sent them back to wait until we were ready, as there was nowhere on the small table surface to put them, and they were only warm when they were brought back - and something has clearly gone wrong in service pacing in the kitchen. And when I asked for the check the server brought a tablet and just showed me the total; when I asked to see the check details she seemed genuinely surprised and affronted, but was quickly able to show them to me. Can Loft not afford a check printer? We've had many excellent and enjoyable meals at Loft in the past, but this downward trend has been apparent the last couple of times we've been there. After last night, and with so many more good options now available in Edmonds, I think we're done here.
