The restaurant was freezing, even while I was wearing long sleeves. I ordered a bolognese dish and at first there was no meat whatsoever. The waiter told me while stirring the dish that he could find meat but there was literally no meat. We finally just asked him to take it back to the kitchen and add meat which took time so my guest had almost already finished eating before I got my dish.

Excellent food and service. There is nice natural light and beautiful decor. All of the dishes were very fresh and prepared well.

Lovely room with a nice variety of food on the menu. I asked for a round table, and it was available for our party of 5. The attire was dressy to informal. Live background music helped make the evening special. It was our anniversary, and they provided a tiny cake with best wishes. It's a bit pricey but the food is good, and the ambience makes the evening special. Thanks to all who made it memorable.

Delicious food, very nice service too. Just think that I was overpriced, but it’s as expected as a luxury restaurant

Outstanding lunch at the Penninsula in "The Lobby" restaurant. The food was excellent. The tuna was perfect, the salads were fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The club sandwich was a substantial offering with fresh smoked turney and trimmings. Sevice was perfectly timed and attentive. Overall a delightful experience!!

The Lobby at the Peninsula is a venue that is becoming increasingly rare. A grand, spacious luxury hotel dining room that has that appeal to those seeking a classy, quiet dining experience. The dining room is massive in height and space creating a feeling that even if it is crowded, it isn't. Ordered the Ahi Tuna and a chopped salad, shared, and the Tandoori Chicken. All delicious. Typical Peninsula high standard of excellent service.

We love The Loby. The service at the hotel and restaurant is superb. Our waiter Osvaldo has been with the restaurant for years and it’s nice to see him. He does excellent job making the experience extraordinary. My salmon was very well prepared and steak was excellent. Vine selection is great. Dessert raspberry passion fruit cake was worth fighting for 😂🍰 We love the piano player. It is nice to have conversations without shouting and enjoy meal in relaxing ambiance.

An absolute classy with first class service. If you want to feel elegant go here. The breakfast is out of this world. Best egg Benedict’s I’ve had. I’ve been here during Christmas which decorations are beautiful and I went back again in July. If I go back to Chicago, I will 100% go back.
