Great pub. Nice atmosphere. Good outside area that gets sun in the evenings. Food was decent but prices relatively high (£22 burger and fries, £20 fish and chips). Pints > £7. We reserved ahead and were in a table in the back which is a bit of an alleyway and servers tended to come buy when they had things to bring not to check if we needed drinks. Main bar is nice and light though.

The wild salmon Niçoise salad and the pork loin were delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding was incredible!

Great atmosphere/ambiance. Service was very slow and inattentive. Scotch egg and sticky toffee were on point. Pork belly and sides were all over cooked.

Our first visit here for Sunday lunch. Our food was delicious & well prepared. Service from staff was outstanding even tough the pub was extremely busy. Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch & would visit again. we were impressed by plenty of gravy, which is often lacking with Sunday lunches!

The food was a disappointment. The "potato doughnuts" that came with the leek and potato soup were inedible; I think they hadn't been cooked. The soup itself was not especially enticing. The meat in the hamburger tasted like it was the gristle, fat and maybe even a bit of bone that had been trimmed from another cut of meat, thrown in the grinder and called a hamburger. It was tough going! The baked camembert was surprisingly tasteless. The picanha was tough. Sorry to have say this and hope it helps an old stalwart improve.

Always nice! We love to visit the pub. Used to be our 2:nd home when we used to live in Notting Hill Holland Park!
