The food is delicious and the place has a great ambience. I’ve been many times and have always enjoyed it. Yesterday was a disappointment, I went with three kids and ordered within the first 10 minutes and then waited over an hour and a half for the food. The kids were desperate for food. It took way too long.

Amazing roasts , we had beef & mushroom wellington, so tasty & quality ingredients. Best roasts we’ve had in the area in a while. Well done guys & thank the kitchen team for a very nice roast

Nothing to complain about, and the service was excellent. The food was good, and bonus points for providing homemade bread sauce with the roast chicken. Overall it was a very nice lunch but nothing exceptional.

The waiter was great, he took note of my raw onion allergy and the kitchen made me a salad without onion. Food was delicious, atmosphere is great. It’s one of my favourite locals

Great pub. Nice atmosphere. Good outside area that gets sun in the evenings. Food was decent but prices relatively high (£22 burger and fries, £20 fish and chips). Pints > £7. We reserved ahead and were in a table in the back which is a bit of an alleyway and servers tended to come buy when they had things to bring not to check if we needed drinks. Main bar is nice and light though.
