I had made a reservation through Open Table. In the reservation I requested a specific Server that we know and like very much. When we arrived we were seated in the very “noisy” bar area. The hostess was not welcoming or friendly, especially when we asked for a table in the dining room, not the bar. She didn’t respond and seemed annoyed. She abruptly grabbed 4 menus and took a very quick look in the dining room and stated there were no other tables in the dining room. We not only got stuck in the noisy bar but also did not have the Server we requested in the reservation. This has happened several times before where we were told the requested Server was not working where we were seated. It’s as if they don’t bother reading the Special Request in the reservation. I will say our Server was very good and attentive. The fish fry we all had was very good as well, however my fish and fries were not as hot as they should have been. Often the fries come out cooler than they should be, as if they’re not made to order and have been premade. Truthfully,if it wasn’t for the demeanor of the hostess I probably would not have written this negative review. I would ask the staff to please read the Special Requests on all reservations and do your best to accommodate us customers. When that’s not possible being apologetic would be appropriate.

Returned after long lapse. Great service and food was great plus a great value. Glad to be back!

We sat outside. Food was great and service was prompt. I had the perch fish fry and my wife had a salmon sandwich. Portions were good for the price too. Will definitely be back.
