I always say ‘We’ve never had a bad meal at The Keg’. The meal was very good but the experience was a little disappointing. I give the following opinions: I made the Rez a week ago and in it mentioned it’s my husband’s birthday. The table for 2 they offered was terrible. We may as well have been sitting with the family less than a foot away. However, after rejecting that table and asking for a booth, we were given a booth for 2. I ordered 2 lobster tails. They were cooked perfectly but the accompanying (what was supposed to be) hot garlic butter was more like a thick salty butter soup. I could barely taste garlic and it wasn’t hot - barely warm. The waitress changed the candle and the butter, but the replacement was just as thick, salty and lukewarm. This detracted greatly from the enjoyment and taste of my meal. I’ll be calling management tomorrow. The meal is expensive but that was expected. What wasn’t expected was the quality of my meal.

Our server James was great. We told him we were celebrating 3 special events and he engaged with us and our newlywed couple. The food was phenomenal as it always is at The Keg.

I come to this location regularly and it seems everything has changed. The garlic mash did not taste the same, I had to look for my server many times when I needed something and the salad portion has definitely changed. Not the same experience since opening again after renovations.

New renovations was done nicely and feel more cosy than before. Food is the same as before. My server James was excellent and was clearly happy to see us again after the renovation closer.
