Not sure if I would go again. Place smelled strongly like fish. The tuna tartare was lacking in flavour and the sticky toffee pudding was lacking.

Another incredible dinner at the Keg On Macleod Trail. Top notch service start to finish. I just have to make a note - we loved our meal, and overheard the people behind us make a complaint. That table received attention and resolution in seconds being greeted by the general manager, and chef. Seeing that is a reminder why we always go back as they really work to maintain the highest standard and guest experience. We will be back soon!

Had dinner with some dear friends who also frequent this establish. Both couples come here because of past favourably experiences. Our reservation request for seating was accommodated. The waitress was friendly and very good with customers. Our appetizers were well presented and very good. Of the four main courses, only one did not meet the standard. The prime rib dinner was overcook and had a fairly large section with fat in it. Once this was brought to our servers attention the meal was deducted from our bill and a new piece was sent home with us for later enjoyment. One couldn’t ask for much more consideration. Overall, we will return due to experiences such as this.

We've been going to this Keg over the last ten years and went there recently with a very odd experience. A few things really put us off and we'd really need to consider if we'd ever want to return. Not sure if there was a change in management recently, but here's the list of things that occured: - We arrived 30min early and are table wasn't ready (totally ok) so we had a drink and wings in the lounge to wait. When our table was ready, the hostess came to take us to our table. We were almost done our wings but the hostess told us we had to go immediately because there were others who would want our table away. This was super odd because this was right at our reservation time and I know they have a 15min grace period. She was very pushy and rude and my wife still had food in her mouth! Definitely not an experience you want going out for dinner. - At our table, we both ordered filet mignon. I ordered mine med rare, and my wife medium. When the stakes came out, mine was rare but the server asked immediately if mine was ok (like she already knew it was off). Mine was well underdone. I would say between blue/rare as it was cold in the middle. The server saw my steak and agreed it wasn't cooked properly. At this time my wife checked her steak and it was well done (no pink inside). The server took these back and we got all new places. Having to wait an additional 12min wasn't ideal, but I did get a proper med rare. However my wife's steak was still way over medium. We didn't say anything this time, but we go to the Keg for consistency and didn't get it. - When we got the bill there was no discount to rectify our terrible experience. - When we were all packed up, another server came by with bread to drop off at our table. Super weird because it was obvious our table was finished. We had to tell her it wasn't for us. Overal it was a strange experience.

Our reservation was for 7:00 pm. Started off by telling us that the prime rib was on the medium rare side that night which was fine with us. The server then took our drink order. After we received our drinks it was time to order appetizers and mains. We all ordered prime rib and were told that the kitchen might be low and that the server would have to check. As some of you may have guessed, they “ran out” of prime rib. The reason we chose this restaurant was for their speciality - the prime rib. The rest of the menu items we could get at numerous other restaurants. We were there for one reason and they failed us. We should have been told at the door about the situation - not after ordering.

The service was excellent and the server was outstanding, but the food left a little to be desired. I felt that the prime rib to be a little fatty and the twice baked potato was overcooked. The appetizer (baked Brie) was awesome and the desserts were very good. Overall, a good experience.

Overall fantastic. Food was great. Servers were great. It was a bit loud but that is to be expected. Great food as always. So dependable.
