The prime rib is a bit overcooked, medium is best if you like medium well in general. The portion is very huge.

So I went with one other person, and ordered a prime rib. As soon as my dinner was set down, the person I was with said to me that's pretty gross most of your piece of meat is all fat. I said whatever, first off we were headed to a show and running low on time, and I never complain about my food. When we were done and the waitress came to clear the plates, she asked how everything was, and the person I was with mentioned how my prime rib was mostly fat. The poor waitress apologized, and told us that she can even show her manager how much of my prime rib/fat was sitting on the plate. Then the manager awkwardly comes out, and is like I hear you weren't pleased with the meal. I explain to him that I've had a lot of prime rib and never recieved a piece like that, he then says he will see what he can do. Then he sends out the server to tell us the best he can do us take $16 off my meal. Honestly like I said I don't ever complain about food, but just the way this was handled and the awkwardness of the interaction and way of handling the situation by the manager was pretty insane. Also just want to reiterate that our server was amazing, and the other food was also great.

We went to The Keg on Dunsmuir to take part in Dine Out Vancouver. It was a wonderful meal…beautifully presented and very tasty…well worth the price. Our waitress was fabulous…very attentive, but not hovering at your table. I would definitely recommend this Keg and won’t hesitate to return another time.

Large business dinner, excellent service and accommodating in adding folks beyond the reservation size. The Keg team did great!

We had a really good birthday dinner! Our server max was great. So knowledgeable. Big group of people little bit down from us was decently loud but that’s to be expected on a Saturday night

We regularly visit this location when we have tickets to a live show nearby. That night, however they were very busy - as it was during the Eat Out Vancouver promotion. Our service was good, and we ordered from the Dine Out menu to keep things simple. We both tried new dishes we had never had before and always looked forward to the Keg and their consistency of service and value. However, our meals were so slow to come out that we had to ask about our food as we were close to being late for our show. We also requested our desserts (included in the Dine Out menu) be packaged to go. By the time our main courses arrived, we had to eat very quickly (not very enjoyable) and pay before we were done so we wouldn't be late. My husband paid, and we left. As we rushed to the theatre he mentioned that we paid extra for dessert and asked me why we ordered it if it wasn't included in our meal. I was shocked, but thought we misunderstood the menu, however, upon reviewing the website dessert was included and we were overcharged. Very disappointing experience. If we had taken the receipt from dinner I would have called after the show to speak with a manager but without the receipt, I didn't think they would help us.
