The staff and restaurant itself are wonderful. As a long time customer I am disappointed with the steep price increases across the entire menu - beverages included! The portion size has decreased while the prices have risen dramatically. It really should not cost one person nearly $100.00 for a meal with no appetizer nor dessert and one alcoholic beverage.

I recently had dinner at The Keg in Ajax, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. What stood out, though, was the excellent service from our server, Steve. He was attentive, and friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. Steve made great recommendations from the menu and was knowledgeable about the dishes. Our meals arrived perfectly cooked, and he checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive. I left feeling impressed by both the food and the exceptional service. I highly recommend The Keg in Ajax, and kudos to Steve for making our dining experience so enjoyable!

I requested a quiet booth. We got a lovely booth but just off the bar area. would have been lovely but there is an open pass through type window that would be better closed off. the food was luke warm, even my shrimp cocktail which i assume was defrosted in warm water or the microwave before serving. It should be chilled. The poor waiter was a bit frazzled due to other complaints. This just wasn’t the Keg experience we are used to. Maybe it was just the timing as we had reservations for 8:15.

The steak was good and it was cooked to my likening but the sides (asparagus and rice were not acceptable. The cold butter was given after we received the lobster tails. When the waitress was asked to warm up the butter it was like asking for money . She did not like that we asked to warm it up. The keg has become an average restaurant with high prices .

Everything was great! Our server Mercedes was amazing! Only negative was the hostess when we came in. Didn’t say hi, not enthusiastic, was yawning. First impression was not great. But thankfully Mercedes and the rest of the servers in the bar area were fantastic

We had a wonderful time and our server (plus the bonus servers who brought stuff to our table) were all excellent! It was the first time for all 3 of my teenage daughters and they absolutely loved it!!
