The food at the Ivy Market Grill was good quality and good portion sizes. A bit expensive but expected in Covent Garden. Service was exceptional.

Excellent food and service. Drinks are slightly overpriced. The free birthday pudding for my wife was a really nice touch.

Food is delicious and ambience is elegant but more importantly all employees are so courteous and friendly! We had a medical condition that needs help and everyone was so concerned and kept asking how we were which was very nice!

All the staff where lovely, there was a slight waiting time with mains coming out and us having to ask how long it would be but this was sorted quickly All round lovely evening

Food was fine, nothing exciting. My meal was advertised with fries- I didn't get any. Ambiance outside was nice but the service was poor. They stood at the desk chatting and we ended up going up to pay as the bill didn't arrive. Disappointing.

We love the Ivy and have been to many over the years but this wasn’t a great experience. Booked a champagne lunch for a friends 50th birthday and the waiter dropped a full glass of champagne over the birthday girl. These things happen but there was no apology or offer to rectify. Table remained sticky and my friends dress was ruined. Had to ask for a new napkin and cutlery and then waited some time for a new drink. A real shame as a special occasion but staff seemed too busy to care.

I eat in The Ivy chain a lot. So disappointing last night. Food was mediocre and we were kept waiting on the sides. Our dinners arrived within minutes of ordering so clearly not freshly cooked. They couldn’t get rid of us quick enough. We’d been in there 45 minutes and they were trying to stuff desert down us. Will avoid Henrietta St and stick to Tower Bridge in future.

My sirloin steak was ordered medium but came rare, it was tough also and not what I expected. The wine was kept in a cooler ten yards behind me for some reason? So every time I wanted a top up I had to turn 180 degrees and try and get some attention as it should not be up to my guest to flag a top up? When attention was gained the waitress tried to pour as much wine as she could into the glass ? No fineness at all, The cost of the steak was removed but it was not great,
