We booked a table for breakfast. We ordered some fruit juices, these were okay, but nothing that special. The pancakes were covered in too much cream, although the eggs benedict was very good. We did enjoy the bakery basket selection with some conserves. The coffee and hot chocolate were excellent. We were just not very happy with the juices and pancakes. Otherwise all okay! We will go back to the Ivy Market Gill for breakfast in the future. With thanks!

Fantastic dinner with family and friends for our anniversary. Meals were affordable and delicious, drinks were stellar, desserts blew us away. Highly recommend!

We booked it ages ago and table was tiny between 2 of us. Service started good and then slowed down. Good portion were small for the piece.

Food was great service was a little slow. Had to keep ushering the waiter over. Plus we must of waiting 45mins between starters and mains which got very frustrating.

Services was terrible. Got our entire order wrong and aims were brought out 20 minutes apart, so one was stone cold by the time the other came out. Waiters brought wrong orders to the table consistently and we had to reorder missing mains,starters and sides 3 times. Food was good but service was unbearable.

We had the valentines deal! The starter was okay (prawn cocktail) the main was steak and it was sooo chewy! We had to pay extra for the mash and broccoli (broccoli didn’t turn up) we was so cold due to heaters not working outside that we didn’t have our desert! Really wasnt work £200 for two people

Loved the whole experience, starter was a bit hard in places and felt as though it had been made hours before and reheated , shepards pie was outstanding

Love The Ivy, the menu is lovely and the food quality is always exceptional. This visit the service was a little lacking. Bottled water provided with no option of tap water (unusual as they normally ask which one you want) and the a wait of 15 minutes to get the drinks order in. Then another long wait for food order. When starters were finished another long wait for mains. Ordered another drink, another long wait and then when asked if we wanted a sweet it took so long for the menus to arrived I just wanted to get up and leave. Everyone was the usual nice and friendly self but it’s not the cheapest of places to eat and I don’t feel that waiting the length of time we did for each item was justifiable to be honest. Disappointed this time, sorry.
