This is a busy place on a Saturday lunchtime & its quite a cramped restaurant. But the food, service & everything really is first class, so somehow that doesn't really matter! We had the shepherd's pie - which seems a strange things to have when dining out, but it really was one of the best I'd ever tasted - and had been recommended by a friend to try. If you're near Covent Garden would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Awful. Booked a table for 5 (4 adults plus a highchair) and they tried to seat us on a small table for four. I asked how is a highchair supposed to fit on it they told me that’s what they do and then the other option was to sit in the basement so we lugged the pram down there. Very patronising staff trying to explain that a child on the highchair would be fine. Not sure what how they expected a child to eat without any table surface to put their plate.

Sorry but I got bumped because our table did not have enough room. This got really annoying after a while, simply not enough room for our table of 5. Food was ok, great value just a shame about the space.

The service at this restaurant is awful. I waited for 30 minutes for coffee. The waiter never stopped by to help.

We had a terrible experience the eggs were overcooked and the breakfast was cold, we ended up eating at different times which was not very social.

The food was amazing! There were 5 of us and we had a 5 min wait to be seated! Then the service was very slow, Mixed up a drink order! Then long wait to order food! Very long wait to have our dishes cleared!! Then we had to wait for the bill, had to ask!! And we had to figure out our own share of the bill! No separate bills!, even after we asked before ordering!

Lovely food and service. Only issue are tables are to close together, seem to pack you in like chickens.

Lovely ambiance service a bit slow but it was busy so understandable. The food disappointing . Batter on fish was soggy and greasy. Chicken Milanese overdone and very dry. No ones fault but mice running between the tables in the courtyard
