Delicious! Wonderful night out with my daughter. She had the Shepherd’s Pie and I had the pork schnitzel. It was scrumptious! Busy place right in Covent Garden. So glad I remembered to use open table!

I was there with my daughter for my 60th birthday. The staff made me feel very special. Such friendly staff. We were seated at the bar great service great meal.

Food very good but we were given the wrong menu, there was a problem with the bill and we were sitting in a draft.

Overall we had the most amazing time and the food and service were superb. My only criticism is that I was able to book a menu via Open Table that had ceased the day before ie the London festival (£25 for 2 courses and a glass of champagne on arrival!). We even ordered from the said menu until the Maitre ‘d came over to explain the mistake. I felt for the staff who were incredibly apologetic and embarrassed that this could happen.

Overall the lady who served us was nice and attentive but she could not advise on food allergies or any food related questions. I am pregnant so asked if their mayonnaise was pastuarised and she would say yes in a very unconvincing way then go check with someone else and come back to tell me best not to eat it. Odd that her response was yes to start with though when she clearly didn’t know! She also came back at one point to tell me the chicken was cooked at 70C after I had started eating which was very stressful as I am pregnant and didn’t think anyone would undercook a chicken in any case, 70C is not the temp at which chicken is cooked it has to be around 180C . The chicken seemed cooked and another waiter said it was fully cooked but that was altogether a very stressful experience with the waitress not being able to provide or obtain any concerte info

I have been going to this location now for a number of years. I think it is overdue for a refresh. I think it’s a great brand but needs to up their game here. Service was not up to par at all.

Our waiter completely forgot our drinks until he was serving our main course and I had to remind him we were still waiting
