Disappointing meal. We had to ask several times for our Water, to order a dessert, to order some tea, and twice for the bill, which eventually we went up and found someone at the counter. Also the portion size of the berries dessert is about half the size of the same dish at Winchester Ivy. Fish and chips however were fabulous, once I had replacement chips, for the ones that were launched at the floor! And the SeaBass was lovely, once the Sea bream went back and the right dish was served! All in all a complete shambles.

Lovely evening with my mum! I wanted to have a great British classic dish so my mum and I decided to go for the traditional Fish & Chips. It was beyond tasty and delicious! A generous portion with an amazing crisp coating. The chips were perfect! The tartar sauce was outstanding! I really liked the way in which the lemon 🍋 was given, with a net so to avoid the seeds to fall in the food. Very nice idea 👌as well as amazingly presented! Miranda was our waitress, she was super attentive as well as helpful. She gave her best and genuine advice and she was ready at our attention. She went the extra mile with her smile!

We had a wonderful meal, marred only by the broken egg yolk on my steak tartare. Very comfortable atmosphere, a bit noisy, but very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent. It’s a shame overseas visitors can’t use the Ivy App.

We usually love dining at The Ivy Kensington Brasserie. I booked a table for myself and my girlfriend on Monday evening for dinner at 6:45pm. This was a romantic evening so I asked for a corner table if possible. We were delighted to see that a corner table was ready for us when we arrived at the restaurant. However, it took a while for the waiter to come to the table for us to order some drinks. By the time he arrived to take our drinks order, we had had more than 10 minutes to choose our starters and main courses. I was not very impressed when our starters arrived at the table before our drinks. Our dinner was pretty good to be fair so was the cocktail and wine. We then chose some desserts and were taking our time to finish. Then suddenly, who I can only imagine was one of the managers, came rushing over to our table to ask if we had finished. We were still in the middle of eating our dessert and we informed him that we were indeed not finished! Then he had the temerity to abruptly say that he needed the table back in 10 minutes. We were having a really lovely evening until we were told to quickly finish eating and leave the restaurant. I informed the manager that we were not happy about being rushed out like this. Also that we have been very good customers at this restaurant. However, this made no impression on him whatsoever. I have to say that it was really unacceptable to be told to leave when we hadn't finished our desserts. We were going to have some after dinner drinks to finish our meal, but we just didn't have had time to do so and feeling so pressured had to finish and leave. Our evening was ruined by what had transpired with the manager. So, we will have to think carefully before we choose to come back to The Ivy Brasserie in Kensington again in the future.

Unfortunately it was not how it should be. As a regular customer I found the service and food very poor on Sunday compared to usual.

Our waiter left just after we ordered and the individual that replaced them had no clue what was going on or what food was what when it did come out. The individual tried to take our order again.....lol The restaurant was very loud with music and it was hard for a party of 6 to talk with each other.
