For those looking for a little something extra to celebrate with friends or impress at a business lunch, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie offers a semi-private dining area, seating up to 12 people. Positioned on its own level, the semi-private dining area was designed to present a great vantage point over the restaurant, giving you the option of a more intimate setting while still being able to enjoy the atmosphere of the main restaurant. Available for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner reservations it offers the perfect setting for group bookings, whatever the occasion. No minimum spend or set menus required. Guests are invited to order from the restaurant’s main menus.

Albi our waiter was friendly and pleasant as always. Fussed around us and made us so welcome. We keep coming back here as the service we get is great. Food always lovely.

Food was generally good, though my friend sent back the shepherd's pie as the top was burnt and it came back exactly the same - so he scraped off the top. Service was good, but afterwards felt ripped off. We both ordered off the £19.17 lunch menu but were charged for each dish separately (i.e. £50.25 instead of £38.34). Morever, we ordered tap water but were charged £5.50 for still water (the bottle was not labelled). I did not have time to check the items before paying so only noticed these anomalies later. I've often eaten at other Ivy restaurants and never had these issues before.

Good food and ambience, but service was very slow indeed, even though restaurant about ⅔ full. Waiting staff friendly and professional, but everything took ages, and our shared starter arrived with main courses.

Chips arrived cold/tepid so were sent back. This soured the evening when you are paying £6.50 for chips and had nearly eaten the steak before the chips arrived. The drink were knocked off the bill & the waiter was excellent

Pleasant staff, but slow service. Individual requests met. Bottled water ridiculous price. Background music created a noisy environment, rather than a chatty, busy one.

My friend loved her salmon. I was so-so about my Malaysian Monkfish and I don’t think the tiny shrimp were prawns. The chocolate bomb was great and the waitress was very knowledgeable and accommodating of my friend’s need for gluten free

As always, outside in the garden room at the Brasserie is magical. Quieter and impeccable service .
