For those looking for a little something extra to celebrate with friends or impress at a business lunch, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie offers a semi-private dining area, seating up to 12 people. Positioned on its own level, the semi-private dining area was designed to present a great vantage point over the restaurant, giving you the option of a more intimate setting while still being able to enjoy the atmosphere of the main restaurant. Available for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner reservations it offers the perfect setting for group bookings, whatever the occasion. No minimum spend or set menus required. Guests are invited to order from the restaurant’s main menus.

This place is going downhill. Our server was nice enough, but seemed brand new to hospitality. He did not know the menu and our requests for no egg on Milanese did not happen. When busing our table after mains, he left it half cleared and was just chatting with a few other staff members. We could see it, and in a pub would not bother me or I would clear it myself. This is the Ivy and we are paying £40 a head. Just us a real unprofessional feel. The food has also gone down hill. Tired & reheated, 3 dishes arrived to the table Luke warm and the battered fish was rubbery with the batter just a hollow toilet roll in zero contact with the actual fish. When cutting it the whole thing fell apart. £28 for a sirloin steak cooked medium - was not even hot and just various shades of rubbery grey. It’s such a shame as not that long ago Ivy Brassiere was a sure fire can’t miss experience. Our last few visits were not great but am now afraid it’s out of our rotation.

Service was shoddy, slow and incompetent . The servers had an attitude and were unfriendly and not forthcoming . Not a good position for an IVY restaurant .

Always such an exquisite experience at the Ivy in Kensington. It’s a lively ambiance, and what is fantastic is you can still perfectly hear your friends talking and have a great conversation. The food and drinks were amazing. Service was very « attentionné » and welcoming. The seating is also very comfortable. Thank you!
