Out of most meals. Had to order meals that we didn’t want to order. Food was worse than Olive Garden. Stay away from this restaurant. Service was good. Food is overpriced and horrible.

We obviously knew that it was Valentine’s Day and it would be crowded But it did seem that they were unprepared Food and cocktails really did take too long It was almost 2 hours I’m a very patient person but it was ridiculous. My advice be better prepared for a big night like Valentine’s.

I was somewhat surprised. It was an okay experience, but the food was so-so. I must say that the drink I had tasted great and was presented very well. That said, the food lacked flavor. It’s not what I would expect from a place called “The Herb Box”. Specifically, my entree was a tenderloin with no apparent crust and void of any flavor in spite of the sauce with it. Additionally, the potatoes, which I thought were supposed to be smashed, lacked salt or any other flavor. Also, the string beans with the dish were a touch on the raw side for my tastes. Likewise, it just tasted like they were blanched without much salt or any other flavor. Finally, the dessert was great, but I understand it was from a local bakery.

Went to the Herb Box with a party of four for a pre-dinner show at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Can definitely recommend. I'm the vegan of the group, and the vegan options were superb. Additionally, a couple of us no longer drink, and HB's mocktails were quite good. The restaurant can get a little loud, and when there was a rush of people they could've used some extra servers to help out, but those are minor nits. Would come back here again for sure.

Brussels sprouts and guda mac and cheese were excellent. The chicken sandwich was average. Desserts were awful, despite how beautiful they looked. The tables were dirty, but the service was good.
