Considering they do events, I very impressed with the actual restaurant area and decor. It was spacious. Restrooms were nice. Great location close to the white house and the Warner Theater where we went after dinner. Cost Value is just OK but not bad compared to some of the competitive set in the area. The meals don't include sides so that drives the cost up higher than what it appears at first glance. They also charge $5 for their bread to start which was only OK but not overwhelming considering you pay extra for bread. Main negative is that the service was a bit slow. The server was great and seemed on top of things, but getting the main course after we ordered took an hour. I am guessing their kitchen may be understaffed as is probably the case at many DC venues on a Sunday afternoon. They did not seem that busy when we ordered though it did get busier and noisier as time went by. Overall, considering everything from ambiance, to service, to location, to food quality, and cost, I would certainly go here again. I ordered the bread appetizer and also ordered the fish dip appetizer. The fish dip was just OK. My spouse got the crabcake which was she liked, and I got the vegan lemon ravioli which was very good and the crab fried rice as a side. My spouse got one martini and I had one non-alcoholic fruit drink. Cost of all of that was $125 prior to tip. So, it was quite a bit more than many non-DC restaurants or even DC chains. DC really needs to find a way to keep their costs a bit lower if they want to keep me coming back regularly. I feel like we could go to a local suburb steakhouse or a chain outside of DC and get just as good of service and meal for about 2/3 the cost. We mainly go to DC when doing other DC events and rarely make the trip to DC for just the dining because of their inflated costs.

The server was very inattentive. The food came out like warm at best. When told the hostess about the experience she said maybe it will be better next time.

Took my partner here to celebrate their birthday. We got to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the ambiance. Our server was extremely accommodating and friendly. The food here was fantastic with a special mention to their meatballs. The interior is lovely and with a classical designed. At the bar, you can easily enjoy your food and drinks without too much noise. The price is a bit steep however that is to be expected with a renowned restaurant next to the White House. Definitely worth the visit.

We dined at The Hamilton for my wife’s birthday dinner and we were so happy that everything was perfect. Food was cooked just as we ordered, The Hamilton single barrel Sagamore Rye pick was a fantastic value, and they surprised my wife with a dessert on the house. My family was pleased by the bone-in cowboy ribeye, the sashimi Lucky 13, and the crab cakes. Delish and would highly recommend!!!

Service and food was good, not great for the price point. Drinks are way overpriced for what you actually get. They should either lower the price a few dollars or up the amount of booze - ice is about half of your "drink." I appreciated being seated and served relatively quickly, and the validated parking is a plus.

Great food and service! I took my friend there and she loved the turkey sandwich. The Parmesan fries were amazing. I had the short rib sandwich and it was delicious. Our sever was amazing too.
