Our Server Julia was attentive, knowledgeable and very cordial. Dinner was well timed and the food excellent. We enjoyed crab cakes, scallops and pistachio crusted halibut. Everything prepared very well. The ambiance allows for easy dinner conversation in a spacious setting. We will definitely return on our next trip to DC.

Review: I recently dined at The Hamilton and I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and the lackluster response from the staff. The dishes were literally swimming in butter, to the point where it completely overpowered any other flavors. I enjoy a little richness in my meals, but this was excessive and made the food almost inedible. I brought it to the attention of the server, hoping they would address it. Unfortunately, their response was merely, “We appreciate your feedback for next time,” without offering any solution or remedy. No attempt was made to correct the issue or even provide a replacement dish. I left feeling unsatisfied and unheard. A restaurant should be willing to take customer concerns seriously, especially when it comes to the quality of the food. Sadly, [Restaurant Name] did not meet that standard. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I have never been disappointed with Hamilton! The food is always a 10 and the service is always impeccable. I always forget how huge it is in there until I have to go to the bathroom. 😂 I think because we went pretty early before the after work rush, it was relatively quiet, but it can definitely get loud but not in a bad way. Love it here!

Hostess seated us in a lovely quiet booth for an intimate dining experience. The somalier took too long to come to our table, despite our server requesting him twice. We ourselves chose a nice bottle of Grenache. Great service with delightful courses served in a comfortable, timely manner.
