We came for dinner on the 4th of July, just before the fireworks were going to be set off. We had reservations at 7 and were seated right away. Our table was not on top of any other guests we had a comfortable amount of space. Our waiter, Lorenzo, came and offered plenty of suggestions and was very informative of the menu. We took his advice with the mozzarella arancini as the appetizer, it was great! Our entrees were the filet mignon and the cowboy ribeye, the steaks were cooked perfectly. There was a shallot-dijion cream sauce that wonderfully enhanced the steaks. We again took his advice and got milkshakes for dessert, good choice!! We highly recommend The Hamilton, we will certainly be back. On a side note it is in walking distance of The Ellipse where we watched the fireworks.

The whole black bass was delicious. The cocktails were fun and yummy. Our server Amanda went above and beyond. Great birthday dinner celebration

We love the Hamilton. The service is always fantastic and the food is always wonderful. The only thing I didn’t care for this time was the dessert but that’s just personal preference. Everything else was fantastic. Its our go-to when we want to nice, sit-down, restaurant experience in DC.

Family friendly a plus for us. We had a reservation and were seated reasonably after arriving. Food and service good. Convenient location for our stay in DC.

Nice ambiance and friendly service. One diner had the wrong order served. After 10 min the correct order (salad with salmon) was brought, it was seared but cold and raw in the middle. We had to send it back to the kitchen so this diner had to wait 20 min to eat. The manager and server were very apologetic and comped that dish and desert. The wine list was interesting in a good way.

Horrible service from waiter. Spilled a drink accidentally and no help with clean up or replacing the beer. So slow, went an hour without touching base with the table. Food was just ok. Kids pizza was a frozen one, so not worth the price.
