Service was surprisingly poor. We waited 18 minutes for a server to appear, and the slowness continued for the duration of our meal. We had 3 different servers, there was no continuity. Even paying the tab was a lengthy process. As a side comment, my dining partner ordered a Virgin Mary (non alcoholic cocktail). We were charged for a Bloody Mary, $11.95. The server indicated the charge was correct, my recollection from previous visits was that the non alcoholic drink was less expensive than the alcoholic version.

We have been repeat customers. Unfortunately, none of our visits have measured up to our first. The food was just okay on this last visit. Most disappointing was being told there could be no accommodation for my dietary restrictions. Ordering 2 eggs your way I requested that veggies be added and was told no (despite spinach being on the menu) because there was an omelette option - though I couldn’t eat what was in the omelette. My wife ordered a dish she’d had before but said it wasn’t as good. Our server was not helpful. I don’t think we’ll be back.

The Hamilton has a diverse menu at a fair price. The restaurant has a DC feel, but with a modern upbeat flair. It’s definitely worth a repeat visit.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Hamilton very much. Our meals were delicious and the service was top notch. The atmosphere was very nice, upscale yet casual. Not only were our entrees delicious but their desserts should not be missed!

Went to Hamilton last night for dinner and experience was horrible. Wife and I were there for 45 mins and only received our drinks. Then over 20 mins after we ordered, the waiter informs us that the ravioli entree my wife ordered is sold out/unavailable. 20 mins! Horrible customer service. Then we had to take our dessert to go because our parking was running out after being there over 1hr 45 mins. This is with no appetizers and basic entrees ordered. We usually have had good experiences with Hamilton but last night was the worst.
