Le Grill est situé au Forty 1°, quai du Nord. Le restaurant offre une expérience culinaire haut de gamme tout en fraîcheur. Ce havre permet un répit unique et serein de l'animation qui a lieu dans le front de mer de Newport. À un pas de la rue, on se sent toutefois dans un monde à part. Le menu propose des grillades et fruits de mer, un bar brut ainsi que légumes de saison cultivés localement. Il y a une salle à manger extérieure qui surplombe le port de Newport, qui est situé à côté du Pavilion Bar, côté quai. Le salon accueillant avec des sièges faisant face au quai crée un cadre idéal pour se détendre et discuter, un cocktail à la main. The Grill du Forty 1 ° Nord est ouvert au public.

We couldn’t believe how poor the food was at 41 North. Would not recommend. The Snake River strip was simultaneously burnt and rubbery when ordered medium rare, its namesake would be agahst. The tomato salad had halved unripened tomatoes. The crudo was luke warm. The “duck fat fries” were at best Kirkland cafeteria fries unevenly cooked without a hint of duck fat. We had to clarify with our waitress that these were “duck fat” she barely could muster telling us “it’s in the butter”, there was no butter. No shame to the waitstaff here, but it was remarkable the kitchen was OK putting out the food that was on our table. Hope they care enough to do better in the future. Overpriced tourist trap - one sad local family’s experience.

My husband and I sat at the Grill. Food was delicious, views were spectacular and the staff were wonderful. It was beautiful day for outside dining.

We ate breakfast and dinner. Service was extremely slow and unprofessional. The food is good but I would dine again because of the service.

Well executed contemporary American cuisine in a gorgeous outdoor dining room. Everything I put in my mouth was delicious, and while the service didn’t match the dinner or decor (excusable on an Americas Cup weekend) the location alone was worth the price of admission. Valet parking in an otherwise difficult city to park in was an added bonus. I look forward to giving them another chance to bring the service experience up to the high standard of food and beautiful dockside environment.

Food just had no flavor and the waitress was absent throughout the meal. Nothing worst than having to chase down staff to try and pay.

Whenever we come to Newport, we always make a visit to The Grill at 41 North. The atmosphere is hip and buzzing. The sunset is always spectacular. And the food and the service never disappoint! This past Saturday, my partner and I shared a Caesar Salad, perfectly seasoned and an ample portion for sharing. I had the salmon, cooked to my preference and he had the lamb chops. I don’t eat lamb but my partner is very particular about his lamb and he loved these chops. They were also perfectly grilled. We ordered creamed spinach and onion rings as sides. They were fabulous! Everyone working at the restaurant is so gracious and accommodating. The manager and assistant manager came over to check up on us. They really make an extra effort to make sure all is going smoothly. 41 North is so festive and vibrant. Usually we sail up here from the Hamptons and continue on our boat to other points in New England for 5 weeks. 41 North is always a highlight of our summer sailing trip! This past weekend, we sailed up for the Newport Boat Show. We were so happy to be able to commemorate another spectacular evening at the Grill at 41 North. Thank you!!

beautiful outdoor setting, great service and food was delicious, prices were very reasonable. The music they were playing was too loud for my taste, I couldn't even hear what the waiter was saying half the time.

You pay for the view, not the food. Paying $72 for a ribeye, I would have expected it to come out somewhat warm. Not room temperature as was delivered to me….
