Le Grill est situé au Forty 1°, quai du Nord. Le restaurant offre une expérience culinaire haut de gamme tout en fraîcheur. Ce havre permet un répit unique et serein de l'animation qui a lieu dans le front de mer de Newport. À un pas de la rue, on se sent toutefois dans un monde à part. Le menu propose des grillades et fruits de mer, un bar brut ainsi que légumes de saison cultivés localement. Il y a une salle à manger extérieure qui surplombe le port de Newport, qui est situé à côté du Pavilion Bar, côté quai. Le salon accueillant avec des sièges faisant face au quai crée un cadre idéal pour se détendre et discuter, un cocktail à la main. The Grill du Forty 1 ° Nord est ouvert au public.

This was our first time back here in a couple years and it’s still a nice spot for a drink but wouldn’t go back for food. Hostesses are unprofessional and very unwelcoming. It’s not a great look for a place that is marketed as an upscale restaurant. They were stood at the entrance like a little clique and half of them with their backs to the entrance. It was a struggle to even get their acknowledgment. We were given lunch menus at dinner and in wine list folders. Kind of nitpicking but again, for an upscale place, I’d expect more. The server was attentive and professional. We really appreciated his effort to maintain a nice level of service because the rest of it is lacking. Food was just ok. Steak would have been a nice cut but came out overcooked and they had already sliced it into little bite size pieces which is odd. Rigatoni, salads, charcuterie were fine but there’s definitely better options in Newport.

We felt very uncomfortable since they asked us to sit in the terrance since they did not have service inside the restaurant. For a upscale $$ restaurant, this is unacceptable. At the end, the food was good, not great, and the service was very good, at least the waitress that served us.

Staff was incredibly flexible to searing us where we felt most comfortable at that moment. Very polished and respectful. Have been back and will continue. Thank you.

Service was a bit slow and the hostesses were a bit meh, but our waitress was great and made up for it!

Beautiful location. Food was overpriced and just ok. Small portions. Expected more seafood items on the menu given the location.

We had an 8pm reservation and they made us wait 30 Minutes. It was very dark to eat. By 9pm some lights were supposed to turn on that never did. It was so dark we were using our cell phones to light up the table. The manager was nice and switched us to a table with better lighting conditions. After our appetizers we waited about 40 minutes to have are entrees served. A bit too long. I was disappointed because we have dined there in the past and the experience was always 5 STARS. Not last night.

The bartender was so obnoxious and took almost 20 minutes to even acknowledge our party. The waiter was very nice but the service was beyond slow. Took forever to get the food and then a half hour to pay our bill and we were the last table there. It’s a very pretty place and I have been there before but this time I was very disappointed
