    We spent New Year’s Eve at The Gladly. To start, we had an appetizer of tuna, which was disappointing—the tuna was stuck to the plate and had to be peeled off, not a good look. The three-course menu followed, beginning with an amazing salad and scallops, which were the highlights of the meal. Unfortunately, the dessert, a German cake, was horrible—dry, flavorless, and reminiscent of something you’d eat on a bad diet. The service was awesome (she checked back regularly). The ambience was okay, nothing spectacular. Overall, I wouldn’t add this place to my list to revisit.

    Absolutely LOVED our first experience at the Gladly! We came in for their 3 course New Year’s Eve dinner and will absolutely be back. I have Crohn’s Disease and have some strict dietary parameters and our server, Chris, worked with me no problem. My eat-everything husband enjoyed his meal thoroughly. Definitely adding this to our list of favorite places in Phoenix!

    In town for just a few days and chose this restaurant based on its location and positive review history. Glad I did! Service was exceptional. Cocktails were very good. We enjoyed the Brussels, Chopped Salad and Scallops (especially the sweet corn grits that came with the Brussels and Scallops) but perhaps the best of all was the Reese’s Pieces ice cream cake dessert - such a generous portion perfect for 2! This place was 5 stars all the way!

    Food is good, service attentive but not intrusive. Establishment can get a little loud, weather permitting outside patio is great.

    Took my wife’s parents to celebrate her father’s 90th birthday. He enjoyed it and so that’s all that mattered to me. Service - outstanding from Baileigh K. Food - happy hour shrimp cocktail was excellent I had the filet mignon. Great piece of meat spoiled by a sauce that was spectacularly salty. So did not finish it. Similar experience for my mother-in-law who had the chicken breast with some kind of sauce that was way too salty. Will not be coming back

    This was our first visit The Gladly, and it was on Christmas Eve. We made a reservation… And it’s a good thing that we did because they were very busy. From the minute, we walked in through the entire meal the vibe throughout the restaurant was very upbeat and professional. But people really seem to be having a lot of fun. Our server Liz was a phenomenal. We made it in time for a couple happy hour drinks and appetizers, which were excellent. We also bought the ice ball and Liz demonstrated how they make them and explained the whole process to us. It was very interesting. A portion of the cost for the ice ball was donated to their charity for the month. Three of our party got the special for the evening and I got the salmon. The portions were large, super tasty and well prepared. A couple of us ended up, taking home a doggy bag. This was our first visit… But it will definitely not be our last. We were quite impressed with the restaurant, as well as the employees. In addition, one of the main reasons we chose the restaurant is because they do a great job with offering gluten free items. This is extremely important to us as my daughter has Celiacs. We would definitely recommend this for a special occasion, or just to hang out with friends.
