    As a party of 4 we had a lovely meal here last week. We all ordered something different and everything was gorgeous. Although the restaurant was full, service was good. We will definitely be back.

    It was ‘ok’ for me and good for partner. She had a vegan dish, sorry can’t remember the name which she really enjoyed. On the Sunday menu though none of the starters or deserts were identified as vegan. Presumably she could have requested vegan alternative, for example soup would be vegan without butter but she did not want to risk this. Similar for dessert without ice cream I guess. It would be better for vegans if this was advised/advertised. For me it was ok. I asked the waitress what veg there is for my turkey dinner and she did not know and me being fussy I asked for just carrots. The meal came with no carrots or veg whatsoever!! She explained they had no carrots which seemed strange but ok. However rather that putting through as no veg she should have asked the kitchen what alternatives there are rather than just putting through no veg. If she had knowledge of what vegetables are available she could have offered me the said alternatives! Fairly straightforward. However as the person on the next table received their meal a few minutes later to see them with carrots I lost my faith in the restaurant at that point. The food itself was fine and standard turkey dinner but not exceptional but that’s fine with me. Couple of minor personal ‘irks’ for me but I appreciate everybody is different was the dance music. We had a laugh that it could be some sort of Gatecrasher! Not my choice for Sunday lunch but as said everyone is different. Bit bizarre that I confirmed my booking with Amex, the leather folder the bill came in stated Amex but upon payment Amex is not taken. Like I said bizarre but ok! So so experience altogether.

    a very poor meal. The 10 Oz ribeye was nothing like it should have been accompanied by 1 onion ring and 2 small grilled tomatoes. As far as I'm concerned a complete rip iff

    Great atmosphere and pleasant surroundings staff are polite and friendly, service was attentive and efficient Food was excellent value and a good standard will definitely dine here again

    The food was cooked to perfection, I had the tomahawk. My only gripe was with the cutlery, I have eaten there lots of times before and the cutlery is fine for everything else on the menu, but, for the tomahawk you need a sturdier fork and sharper knife, both with thicker handles-- its a beast

    Really excellent quality food very big portion sizes we were greeted promptly by a lovely man and served very quickly the food arrived quick and was wonderfully presented and it tasted amazing loved how many pigs in blankets we received overall would recommend to anyone
