We always enjoy Sunday lunch at the Four Horseshoes. We didn’t get the cauliflower cheese or coffee we ordered so my advice would be to chase up on your order several times!

Convenient location to meet up. Good choice of food and excellent service. Able to take advantage of the good weather by being seated outside. Only slight downside, was late on a smoker lit up at the adjoining table! Nothing much to be done and didn't cause to much of a problem.

The breads and olive we ordered were ordinary bread, sliced and toasted. The rice with the curry was so soggy and cold. I should have sent it back as I’m sure it was not fresh. The cauliflower curry had no flavor at all and the cauliflower used to make the curry cannot have been fresh. I had met up with a friend and we were hoping to have a catch up. Restaurant is usually open till 11pm according to their website. At 10.15pm the girl came and told us she will get our bill ready as they are going to close for the night since it wasn’t very busy. I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone and will never go back

Service was excellent however the food wasn't great. Three of our party had fish and chips. Presentation and portions were good however the batter was thick and very oily, not what you'd expect for a beer batter. I had the Chicken Tikka which was ok but had far too many baby potatoes compared to the amount of chicken Rather disappointing. Based on the food we were served I wouldn't recommend. Perhaps it was just an off day.

Fantastic food although surprisingly quiet for a Friday night - this is such a great place - people really need to support it

Thanks for the review, so glad you enjoyed your evening. bank holiday Friday was a little quieter than usual however most our guests dined on the terrace and plenty of families in the pub side, still busy, so the dining room was not at capacity as per most Fridays.
