The Flowing Well is a cracking pub in the pretty Oxfordshire village of Sunningwell.
It has been sympathetically refurbished adding warmth and colour to give a welcoming relaxed feel. We'd like you to think of it as home from home. After all it is the pub of a thousand locals. You can be one of them!

We serve good honest food, as seasonal and local as possible. We don't skimp on quality, freshness or flavour. Our selection of burgers is legendary. Our pies are phenomenal and our British tapas are on everybody's lips!

Had a lovely evening, food was superb and price was just as good, lovely pub in a lovely area. The sharer steak platter was amazing.

Menu did not have many choices for a big venue Food not bad but not likely to encourage a return visit any time soon

Always great - it’s excellent pub food - it’s not pretending to be anything else - just simple food done really well with great service thrown in…what’s not to like

Booked online, for three people Friday lunchtime. Everything went like clockwork, lovely unhurried get-together. Would book again.

First time visit to The Flowing Well and we were not disappointed. Lovely country pub with great outside seating area. Menu was a bit limited but it helped make mind up easier. Food and service was very good! Highly recommended.

A really lovely pub with great atmosphere. Service was really good, staff friendly and happy to help. Food was amazing as always. Highly recommended the steak sharer platter for all those meat lovers out there :)

We can’t lie we’ve been back more often than we should. Food has never disappointed slowly working through the menu, but you can’t go wrong with the famous steak platter or a classic bacon cheese burger. Staff are fantastic and friendly and personable. We’d move to the village just for the pub.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. One of the group needed advice on the beers and the advice given was helpful and accurate. The food was excellent and came very quickly. It was a very hot day but the dining room was cool and comfortable.

Lovely folk behind the bar. We wanted to eat outside and it wasn’t a problem at all. Lovely food and so peaceful. Really enjoyed it and will be back! Thank you for having us
