Very nice food and nice decoration. The only thing I didn't like so much was that it was very hot and there wasn't any AC on the area we were sat at.

Although our order took a little while to get delivered to our table, the server apologized and kept us updated. Offered free bread to compensate for the delay. My wife had the trout (as recommended by our server) and it did not disappoint. I had the filet steak and dispite other comments to the contrary, it was well cooked and succulent. Good atmosphere, not to noisy although it was a little less busy I suspect as it was a Sunday night. Would recommend.

Very good food. Only comment is our waitress was super busy, so there were times when we were just sitting waiting for her return. The peanut butter and jelly dessert was excellent!

The food was spectacular, I definitely recommend the Halibut, but what really made the whole experience was the excellent service. Our server really went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend and will be returning next time we are in Halifax

The food at The Five Fisherman was excellent. We had just finished a week of cycling around Nova Scotia and had eaten at several restaurants of varying quality. We booked Five Fisherman based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. Several of us had the baked halibut, which was locally caught (of course) and prepared with a veggie based sauce and accompaniments. Another in the group had the five fish, which was quite excellent. The salads were quite good, lightly dressed and flavorful. We highly recommend it.

Our food was awesome and Mercedes was a great server. This is a fabulous restaurant and we keep coming back every time we are in Halifax.
