Le The Fireside Restaurant, Waterfront Dining est situé à The Resort, à Port Ludlow.     The setting for this restaurant at the scenic Resort at Port Ludlow is gorgeous and outside diners enjoy a view of the marina, water, and mountains. But the food on offer for the Cider festival, and more importantly, the price did not match the stellar view. First, the price for the Cider brunch menu was a staggering $45 per person and did not include drinks. The brunch consisted of a small un-manned buffet offering biscuits and gravy, eggs, apple cider donuts, apple cake, ham, bacon, and fruit. No omelets to order or any other special apple-related entrees. The service was practically non-existent. We could have ordered off the regular menu and probably saved some money but it was advertised as a Cider Festival event. We were not the only ones grumbling about the poor value. The biscuits and gravy and orange juice were outstanding, but otherwise, the fare was no better than what you could find for free at something like Choice Hotels. They can do better and bring in more clientele with better value.

    Best brunch! We loved the fresh, local food. Preparation was perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive. I gave four stars for staff because one of the hostesses never smiled. She really seemed unhappy to be there. Everyone else was happy! The view and ambience really added to the total experience. Third time brunching here, looking forward to the next already!

    I think I've eaten here like 40 times over the years of staying in Port Ludlow to golf/boat/relax. Food is always outstanding. The menu doesn't change often but there's always a few new things to try as well as old favorites. It's not rustic or luxury- just incredibly comfortable and calm. It's always quiet and relaxing, just like the resort and the rest of Port Ludlow.

    Jonathan provided excellent service that made for a memorable experience. The cheese board was amazing as well as their bread basket. When it came to the main entree, the flat iron steak was well cooked and had great flavor, but the plating was sloppy and visually unappealing. Due to the ambiance and the phenomenal service, I’ll be back.

    Our dinner was fantastic the RR steaks and beef with a Dimi Glaze. Salads and Cheese Flight were very good. The service was very terrific.

    MEH brunch. There looked to be two young girls working as hostess and waitress and that’s it. Food took an hour to arrive. I ordered the corn beef hash and it was crunchy and gritty. My coffee never came. There was a young kid crying that they had forgotten about them and she was tired and wanted to go home and nobody was coming😔. She wasn’t wrong. It was slow service not good food and just a disappointment with such amazing potential. Maybe a one off? We each got a brunch dish. 2 of six got coffees and bill $120. Included a gratuity of 20%.
