We had another great experience at the Firehouse Restaurant. From the time you walk in to the time you leave the staff is inviting and friendly. The food is outstanding as usual. For our 1st course we started off with Scallop and Prawn crudo the scallops melts in your mouth. For our main course had the special (Bison sirloin steak) Wow! that was amazing. We also ordered the duck and that was equally as good. If you like wines, Firehouse has the biggest and best wine selection in Sacramento. We paired our entrees with a bottle Stag's Leap Merlot. Of course you can't forget about dessert! We had the Creme brulee and citrus-olive oil cake. Great way to finish off a fantastic dining experience.

Had a 5:30 reservation but got there early so decided to get a cocktail. Both of our were some of the best we have had, bar none. We progressed to dinner and shared a Ceasar salad and our entries exceeded expectations. Overall a great experience. Not cheap but excellent all around!

Service was excellent besides the fact a few items we order never showed up (we were not charged for them). Food was fair, the menu changed a lot since our last visit a few years ago and feels a bit limited at the moment. Ambiance was great, lovely dining hall and easy access to valet parking. Recommend for a casual dinner

Always a great experience. I had a double cut pork chop, you could definitely taste the quality of the pork and it was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.

Decor place was lovely and the staff was very attentive. Food was kind of mid level. Fish was kind of dry, steak was a little tough. Appetizer was alright. Plating was really pretty!

We made the two-hour drive to Sacramento specifically to celebrate our anniversary at The Firehouse, and it was worth every mile. The online reservation process was easy, and I appreciated the confirmation via text. While parking in Old Sac can be a bit challenging, after a couple of loops around the block, we found a spot right across the street from the restaurant. The service was exceptional! Our waiter, Nick, not only explained the menu thoroughly but also offered off-menu items. As soon as he mentioned a 10oz Bison steak, I was sold! I prefer my steaks blue, and the chef nailed it with a perfect sear. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and accommodating. While the drinks are on the pricier side, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The ambiance feels like a step back in time to old San Francisco, adding to the charm. We’ll definitely be making the drive again in the future—this place is a gem!

The Firehouse is a consistent high level dining establishment. I have dined, worked at, and experienced some of the finest restaurants in California. What stands out about The Firehouse is you can get Louis XIII cognac, Screaming Eagle, or La Marca Prosecco. It’s a professional environment without being stuck up. The staff and the restaurant always have personality. It was nice to see familiar faces.
