Lovely food, though roast pheasant a little tough. But all other meals and desserts very well received!!!

Fantastic welcoming staff. Great food. We were a party of 6 with 4 kids - not ideal for most restaurants- but they could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend.

I always love a Sunday roast at this pub. / good sized portion of lovely food and really good Yorkshire puds

The grilled chicken was way overcooked and looked like it had been sitting around since the lunch service Not edible Won’t be back

Went for drinks this time on a Friday afternoon. Lots of space in their garden, very comfortable & pleasant place if you like to be outdoors. A nice range of Spanish wines to try out too!

Duke of Sussex is an excellent local venue specialising in Spanish food . Always an interesting menu with plenty of choices

Overall the food was good. The onglet was excellent, as were the tabbouleh, coleslaw and chips. One of the two spring chickens was mainly bone, with little meat, so what meat there was was dry, the other one though was very once.

Love this place and after a busy Sunday morning we were really looking forward, and even arrived early at 12.15 ( for 12.30) Choice of table - great Ordering was of course easy then it started. Great tapas starter Then the main order was wrong - Chicken plus whole mackerel became beef and mackerel - fish lukewarm - we must have been one of the first orders out. The order returned - chicken plus reheated fish (not great) My extra chips were put on the gravy with the chicken - OT side please. Not saying it wasn't nice - more than OK in fact but how can you get it so wrong? No discussions needed, no charge for the mains - we were really very well looked after by the manager in charge - OK - thank you - but As above - Love this place - drinks only in future I guess.
