    Husband and I had afternoon tea. Very good, too much food, took some home. Service was leisurely, they needed more wait staff, but our server was very nice. Noise level was loud.

    Not satisfied about the high tea at the drawing room. Price was not worth.It is good spot to take some pictures. But the food is just so so and pricey. Not recommended.

    Overall good experience. The pros being the ambience and presentation. I specifically came for the visuals to do sketch booking (artists iykyk). But I do think it’s become overpriced. The food options are all very standard and could be a lot better for what this place used to be.

    Thank you for the wonderful first time experience having high tea at the Prince of Wales. The staff were outstanding and so accommodating to move me to a very nice table with a wonderful view. I especially enjoyed the finger sandwiches and the scone with the clotted cream. This is a very busy place on the weekends - so glad that I made a reservation.

    The food, service, and ambiance was exceptional. They very kindly accommodated food sensitivities in our party which meant everyone could enjoy all the courses of the Monarch Tea. So thoughtful and very appreciated. Looking forward to dining here again.

    We were thoroughly impressed from the minute we walked through the front door. Our server Brooklynn was so attentive, professional, courteous, all the incredible traits a server should have. She made our day perfect. She took the time to explain what everything was, help with choices and of course took pictures for us. She was incredible! The food itself was exquisite! We ended up taking all of our desserts back with us because we were so full. I even bought a box of tea. They could not have made this more memorable. The staff, the food and the ambiance - it was all an A+ experience.

    Gracious staff; great tasting and fresh food...the warm scones were especially delightful. We had a wonderful, unrushed; pleasant afternoon, just celebrating life. It was a memorable day.

    Great experience. It is expensive for high tea but that's okay. It all part of the experience. Wonderfull time.

    We were just at the drawing room for afternoon tea. It was fine, absolutely nothing special. But after the incident we had I really question their health and safety standards.This issue I had with the restaurant came just after we paid for our tea service. Out of nowhere, in this allegedly elegant tea room, a man (who later turns out to be the manager) walks through the room with a dripping wet mop and splashes the slop all over me. I was shocked! I mention it to one of the servers who says "Oh ya we had a leak" That was her actual response to me. Seeing the look on my face she asks if I would like to see the manager. I say yes and the man carrying the mop comes back and apologizes but again tells me they had a leak. Well, your leak is now all over me and my linen pants. Its just gross. He then puts the onus on me to try to resolve the issue. What kind of management is this? He then says let me get you some scones. His solution was to send me away with scones. Again I was so grossed out I really didn't say anything after that. Its truly awful customer service. At the very least they should have paid for my dry cleaning but no his solution was scones. Honestly go somewhere else as hygiene and customer service are beyond lacking here.
