Le Dime est un restaurant et bar à service complet situé à l'intérieur de l'Hotel Renaissance, dans le centre-ville d'Allentown, en Pennsylvanie. Les menus du chef Damon Gundy sont inspirés par la cuisine du terroir, à base d'ingrédients frais de saison des fermes locales. Le restaurant The Dime présente une décoration de style industriel, un thème mettant en valeur le métal, le bois ainsi qu'une diversité de pierres. L'ambiance est confortable, énergique, innovante et classique. La carte de vins électronique a été primée et comprend plus de 300 bouteilles, avec un grand choix de vins au verre. Their Valentines special menu was very expensive, at $70/person and the place was empty -I guess no one else wanted to pay this high dollar ticket for the food... the table setting was just a bare wood sticky worn table, there should be a white tablecloth and candle. And the service was a huge disappointment, just not professional or appropriate for the price we are paying for this menu, grabbing silverware from other tables and handing to us while holding the part that would go in your mouth. The meal was mid level at best, the filet was fatty and hard on the outside and the dessert plate was a pathetic small jelly filled tiny donut and small chocolate and a stale small piece of red velvet cake. Not worth it at all. Sorry we wont be back.

Great place! Great location when in center city Allentown!! Food was delicious!! Server was great!! Atmosphere was amazing!!

Service was really poor. Had to ask for water refills. Ordered drinks for main course. Had to ask where they were and almost done with dinner when we finally received. The Dime did comp us for drinks. Had to-do food before we received dessert. It was never brought to us. Left without them. Didn't realize we never received until we arrived home.

We were visiting the area from out of town, we took a chance dining at the Dime when we found it on Open Table. We used the valet parking at the Renaissance Hotel which was very convenient. We had a nice lunch with very good food. The big windows made it bright and cheerful in the restaurant despite the cloudy winter day. The service was excellent, from the gentleman who greeted us and took us to our table to the woman who served us. The staff were all professional, friendly and seemed happy to be at work. I will return here again when in the area.

Wound up walking out. Ordered a martini, Brussels sprouts and a pizza. Received a glass of dry vermouth and the sprouts. Sent the martini back. Never received the pizza so we asked for the check and left. Not sure what the deal was but they did not have their act together. Terrible disappointment.

Nice ambience. Loved sitting and looking out on center city Allentown. Menu was small and the meals were common to other restaurant menus. Service was good and timely. The food was good but didn’t wow us with new or unique flavors. I felt that I could make the meals we chose at home.

It has been awhile since we dined at The Dime, but it is beautifully appointed, drinks and food all well prepared, topped off with excellent service. Thank you for a nice dining experience.

The vibe of the place is really nice - view of Allentown, nice decor. The menu had a variety of good options but when the food came out it was very underwhelming. The flatbread was good but it’s kind of hard to screw that up. Service was slow even though it was not that crowded.

Not happy with New Years dinner. Took about 2 1/2 hours for all the courses to come out The Beef Wellington was great! Done perfectly Everything else was cold and sent back. Dessert awful, was dried around the cake because it sat out.

Our waitress was amazing. She was super sweet and got us everything we needed. My grandmother requested garlic bread and the cook in full view had a temper, tantrum and disrespected the waitress in front of the entire restaurant and all the customers. It wasn’t right especially because the food isn’t even that good there. This is my second time eating there and I’m just not impressed by the food the drinks or the cooks
