    Sat by the fireplace on the main floor by the receptionist. We had our favorites - the beetroot jar and the salmon - and adding the soup made everything perfect

    Charming building, friendly and efficient service, great food (my bangers and mash was excellent, the sticky toffee pudding was top tier), and all together a nice meal.

    All 5's, so you could say we had a most enjoyable lunch. Excellent service by the hostess & wait-staff. Excellent food & drink (two salads & omelettes & house wines). Thank you Mark. You and your staff did an excellent job. Looking forward to our next visit for some Shepard's Pie.

    Absolutely terrible food. Tasted like it was prepared by Amelia Bedelia. The Waldorf Salad was truly the stinker of the bunch. Cheddar cheese with honey walnut dressing on wilted lettuce? Talk about a plate of sadness.

    We had dined at the Dandelion previously and enjoyed our experience greatly. This experience was subpar. The dining area was limited and the server got my drink wrong. It was a little disappointing.

    We went for the Sunday roast. The presentation was wonderful with a medium size piece of prime rib each cooked to my dining companion and my liking. The beef was accompanied by a wonderful watercress salad, two nondescript potatoes. I guess they were roasted. They were kind of boring and seemed like an afterthought. I was very psyched for the Yorkshire pudding which turned out to be so dry and hard it wasn’t worth eating. We both left ours uneaten. A good meal which would have been great with minimal effort on the potatoes, and fresh, puffy yorkshire pudding.

    We ate outside on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and the service was excellent. However, the food was mediocre. The salad contained a nice variety of vegetables and the dressing was tasty. However, the chicken was dried out, tough, and tasteless; it didn't seem freshly cooked. The fresh fruit was good and ripe.
