    Brian was an awesome server. First time there, for afternoon tea. Food/tea was amazing & beautifully presented. Celebrating my nieces 22nd birthday !

    Steak was under cooked and cold. Service was ok and a long delayed in placing orders.

    Both of our starters were terrific: chilled yellow tomato soup and a jar of pickled beets with toasts and whipped feta. The bangers & mash were also delicious. As for the fish & chips: the fish was done beautifully, but I found that the "triple-cooked" chips were overdone, with a harsh, unpleasant flavor. That, however, was the only negative note in an otherwise excellent lunch. We look forward to coming back the next time we're in town.

    I am new to Philadelphia, but my gustative papillae have been immediately swept away by the savvy blend of flavours at Dandanelion. The warm bread loaves, served with salty butter, are a real treat. The cheese plates is chosen with attention and singled out by the chutney and honey sides. It offers a wide choice of seafood and meat based plates-not much for vegetarians. The restaurant atmosphere is reminiscent of mid-XIX century imagery, refined and unpretentious.

    I went with their classic fish & chips; always delicious. My husband ordered the Sunday Roast and it was outstanding!

    Disappointing. Fish in the fish and chips was soggy; chips were overcooked. Tartar sauce lacked flavor. The Shepard’s Pie was subpar and the flavors did not mesh well together. Overall disappointing experience.

    The Dandelion is a fun spot to feel like you're dining in an English Pub. Food, like all Starr places, is good to very good. A bit expensive ($27 for Fish and Chips), but you know the quality is good, and you're not going to be disappointed.
