Welcome to The Crown at Burchetts Green.

My aim has always been to offer beautiful food in an authentic English pub. Dishes that are heart-warming, seasonal, and packed with flavor. All I wanted was for our guests to return home happy and contented! This aim established our reputation and remains firmly in place today.

At The Crown, our hospitality will be based on exactly these principles - seasoned, I hope, with a pinch of added ambition in the kitchen. And on the floor front-of-house, you will be greeted and looked after by Amber Flint and her team.
We look forward to welcoming you and cooking for you very soon.

Once again the Crown at Burchetts Green excelled in all areas and my wife and I had an excellent experience. If you haven’t been to this quaint restaurant I would highly recommend it.

We dined from the set lunch menu which was competitively priced and offered a good variety of dishes which were simple but tasty and satisfying. The quality was excellent as was the service. The restaurant area was crowded but well appointed and comfortable.

Warm welcome and excellent service throughout. Outstanding ingredients and high quality cookery. Quieter than I had expected, apparently due to no shows.

It was a nice meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food quality was excellent but it was very expensive. I ordered the steak which came already sliced on three pieces. It tasted delicious but I was expecting more for £42. My wife ordered the pasta which again was more of a starter size but more reasonable at £22. We definitely needed 3 courses whereas we would normally only have 2. Service was good and when we mentioned the portion sizes 2 drinks were removed from the bill.

Excellent experience starting with a warm welcome and offer of a pre dinner drink. Generous glasses of champagne followed on very promptly. We had 3 courses and agreed each was generous and perfectly seasoned, cooked and served. We had to have our favourite starter, the rabbit lasagne which is so unctuous and satisfying. Our fish main courses were fresh and luxuriously served with a sauce and tiny new potatoes. Strawberry trifle rounded the meal off beautifully. All in all a ten out of ten meal. Compliments to the team.

Lovely food can’t fault however you need to review your payment options to allow for cash transactions - it is after all still legal tender!

We had heard very good things about the Crown and booked for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We decided on the Village Menu which is excellent venue. The food was well presented and tasted amazing. The service was good and we were looked after and had a very nice table by the window. We will be eating at the Crown again as the food is sublime and has great flavours.

Very enjoyable good value meal. It was the best food I have eaten in a restaurant in while will be going back .
