Featuring local "farm to table" cuisine using a breadth of farmers in the Missouri and Illinois communities. When asked to define of The Crossing, Owner/Executive Chef Jim Fiala often says that he is a chef that buys locally whenever possible and cooks as any French and/or Italian chef would given the ingredients sourced. Joining Jim is Chef Thu Rein Oo who brings passion and years of experience to the kitchen. Our food is fresh, organic (whenever possible), seasonal and by design very simple. The Crossing stays true to classic techniques and the chefs love showing off their skills and passion for elegant food.

    Went to the Crossings for my birthday dinner. Everything was delicious. Probably the best dinner we have had in St. Louis. Enjoyed the tasting menu. Smaller portions and could try different things. Highly recommend it.

    We celebrated my birthday, and it was so amazing! Our server, Tom, was absolutely fantastic. He recommended a wine that was absolutely delicious. We all ordered different meals, and one of us had the tasting menu as well - we were all sharing bites and tastes and it was all so delicious! I had the Raviolo special with truffles on top - it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten in my life.

    We were seating at the bar and it was lovely and cozy. Phil was a really attentive bartender and server. I was expecting the food to be a bit more remarkable. We both got the tasting menu and there wasn't anything that I felt excited about. I did get the spicy cocktail that was wonderful and would go back to get. The Crossing staff was very delightful and we loved the touch of the birthday card. The service and atmosphere was wonderful. The food was a little less than expected.

    We need a branch in Denver! The Crossing has been a go to restaurant for a LONG time and never disappoints. Every time we are back in St. Louis we are reminded of how consistently great the food and service are at The Crossing! Their 'house" Manhattan is one of the best. Salad, pasta, and dessert - all exceptional. Nancy had the mixed greens and I had the Caesar with anchovies . Appropriate portions as a starter and we shared a pasta, leaving room for dessert! Nancy enjoyed vanilla ice cream with a thick chocolate sauce. I had the cheesecake - pumpkin of course! Thank you for the trifecta - food, beverage, and service!

    It’s always a special occasion to dine at the Crossing. Everything about the experience is “5 stars” but the food is above and beyond that rating - creative, beautiful, delicious, incredible.
