Join us at The Crosby Bar for a delicious Afternoon Tea. Served on Kit Kemp's beautiful Mythical Creatures Wedgwood china, enjoy delectable finger sandwiches, a selection of mouthwatering cakes and homemade scones with clotted cream and preserves. $75 per person or $90 including a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rosé. Afternoon Tea service reservations are booked through the experience 7 days a week between 12pm - 5pm. We ask that if you cannot make your reservation you cancel your reservation by 10pm the day prior. We have a 5 minute grace period in case you are running late.

I used to really enjoy afternoon tea at Crosby (I've been a regular for many years), but it's been terribly noisy the last few times I've been. I had to shout at my friend for the duration of my stay. Also, the service is not as good as it used to be. It took a long time for a server to take our order for tea. The concierge at the entrance was very nice, though. I appreciate how nice they usually are. The sandwiches were very dry and there were handprints on them. I prefer when the sandwich bread was fluffy--these days they seem to flatten the bread, which makes it dense. The scones are still good, but more dry than I recall. I do appreciate that they are nice and warm. The desserts are consistently good, and presentation of afternoon tea is wonderful.

A design treasure with excellent food and drinks in a great part of town. Very funky and gorgeous.

Always enjoy dining here when in town. The hostess was awesome and super accommodating for how busy they were. Thank you for always providing such a wonderful experience at the Crosby.

Always love Crosby (and Whitby)! Everyone is welcoming, the food is excellent, and you feel like you’re in a special place. My guests are always impressed.

The dining room is beautifully decorated which creates a nice, relaxing environment. We had brunch there and it was the perfect way to finish off the morning. The food was excellent and there were choices for everyone. Loved it and would go back.

The food came cold and tasted as if it had been cooked previously and then microwaved. Tuna tartare tasteless.

A lovely afternoon tea. The scones are amazing. The egg salad sandwich is one of the best I’ve had, but the other sandwiches were lackluster. The service was incredibly kind.

Excellent service by hostess, bartender and server. Not crowded yet a respectable number of patrons kept the ambiance and noise level as reasonable as could be expected. Initially seated at a booth and chair table, I noticed a table I preferred and they happily accommodated me and my companion once the previous guests departed. We ordered tea service. Everything was fresh and tasty. Lovely presentation on ornate chinaware the obligatory 3-tired tea tower. The tea server accidentally splashed tea leaves on my place setting and then placed the teapot over it. But the spill was still visible. To the credit of the hostess staff, when I made a discreet request for a linen to place over it she promptly accommodated me. All was set aright and we enjoyed the rest of our visit. The eclectic decor is delightfully colorful and carefully appointed with classic chandeliers. It’s a fun room to sit in. Ultimately, a pleasant, little proper-tea vacation from the stress of my life.
