Always enjoyable. Creative menu with tastefully prepared food. Tried some new items which were very good. As regulars would like more frequent menu updates. Outside nice during these early summer days.

I loved this restaurant. The food was wonderful, my favorite being the octopus. The service was attentive but not overbearing and the decor is truly lovely. Even the music playing was great and the correct volume. I’d go often if I lived locally.

The food here is amazing! Delicious flavors, innovative and new. Service is also excellent! And drinks were perfect.

I highly recommend having three courses (app, pasta and main dish). The portions are perfect to enjoy a wonderful tasting experience. Finish with a delicious dessert. The Spiced Pear cocktail is delicious too. It's a lovely atmosphere.

We had an AMAZING dinner at The Cottage last night. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was lovely. The food was incredible. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

Very good food. Depending on which seat you get, it can be a little cramped and too personal with the people next to you. Having come here for a couple of years, I do feel like the chef has possibly let up on the dedication to this particular restaurant. The menu doesn't change very often and the quality of execution of food prep seems to have gone slightly down. Not a lot, but noticeably. That being said, the food is still very good. I would recommend the octopus and any of the fish dishes. The steak is very good. The char is very nice and it's cooked to perfection. My only critique would be that it's listed as wagyu. I feel like the cut I got was not the highest quality cut. Was good enough not to complain though. If I were going for the first time here would be my menu recommendations: - The octopus (very good, even if you don't like the idea of octopus, it might change your mind) - Brisket Bao Buns ( flavor of brisket varies, sometimes it's great, sometimes just pretty good. With the quid ink mayo and kimchee it makes it a must have appetizer) - Roasted Carrots (quite nice as an appetizer) -Burger ( very good for a burger, but why get a burger when there are so many other options?) For desserts, the only one I've liked so far was the pistachio sundae with raspberry. But I'm not a dessert guy, so don't trust me on that one. I do like this restaurant a lot. I think once you've been here a few times, it becomes less exciting with a fairly small consistent menu. I would like to see more variety over the years while keeping some core dishes. Would definitely recommend. Especially if you haven't been before. Just make a reservation well in advance. Plan to spend $300 for 2 people.

Meh. The beef in the Wagyu bao buns were overcooked and dry. Mediocre meal at best.
