    Delicious selection of fresh appetizers! Server was so helpful and very sweet with attention and service ! Good portion sizes as well!!

    Fabulous! I was lucky enough to get the last of the fish special ( char) and it was outstanding. The pasta special was shared among all and the calamari .. simply the best! I woke up dreaming about the yummy special dessert ( a rainbow cookie skillet!).

    We drove all the way from battery park to enjoy our lunch on Hudson River. It was the worst meal we have had this year. They have very limited gluten free options. No gluten free bread. Prefix is the only option for lunch - was not listed on the booking page. They “made an exception” for my small child and let her order a burger ala cart. The burger was overcooked and dry and she did’t eat it. They didn’t even ask us why, just took away her plate. 24 dollars for a kids burger - only a patty with cheese, no gluten free bun was available. My meal was horrible. The pork appetizer was too salty. I ate it being very hungry. The chicken arrived even more salty. This time I asked them to remake it. The manager took the plate away without saying a single word! Then he brought a slice of bread with cheese and put it in front of me saying: while you are waiting. It was bizarre. Next my chicken arrived. Dry, tasteless. The manager didn’t even apologize. We paid the bill and left. The server seemed angry and agitated and didn’t check on us after I asked them to re do the chicken. The place sucks on so many levels. We regret spending a beautiful afternoon there.

    The meatballs are not to be missed and the pastas are delicious! Cozy atmosphere.

    Once again the Cookery outdid themselves, with inventive and delicious cuisine, outstanding, attentive service and a convivial vibe. The octopus is the best anywhere and the pastas are fresh and delicious. Fantastic meal and experience.

    Overpriced for what it is. Go to Piccola around the corner for a better experience. Wait staff was first class though.

    The noise level was perfect because we had an outdoor table!! It’s been WAY too noisy whenever we’ve eaten indoors in the past

    We got tons of recommendations from Mark and all his suggestions were excellent. We really enjoyed the food and we thought the prices were reasonable. We are definitely going to go back to try more!

    The brunch food, as always was amazing. They have been consistent over the years with their delicious food and good service. I always bring foodies to brunch at the Cookery if I want to impress them.
