Had a wonderful bday celebration for lunch today. Service was great, food was good. The best Reuben sandwich I have had in years!!! Steak frites steak was a little dry. Filet was good. Go for the sandwich. Prices have increased for sure so the bill was a shocker (included drinks!) but was worth the good time had by all!

We were a party of 5, celebrating 4 of the guests’ birthdays and one of the couple’s anniversary. The overall atmosphere is rustic in a beautiful historic setting. Our server was quick, polite, patient with our questions and very attentive. Our food arrived in a timely manner, but not rushed despite us being there late on a weeknight. We ordered cocktails, baguettes, and soups to start. All were wonderful. Our entrees (filet medallions, 6 oz filet mignon, Beef Wellington, and a hamburger) were all cooked to perfection. And the desserts (chocolate lava cake, tiramisu, chocolate pudding) were not only delicious, but arrived at our table donning a lit sparkler … fun, memorable way to end our special occasion. We will be returning.

They make the best beef Wellington. Love going to Clinton house. All love going to there wine tastings.

Please bring back the old Clinton House. I can tell by the prices on the menu why they don’t get the customers that they used to. We were there on a Friday night & the place should have been hopping but it wasn’t. No locals were there & no fun vibe.

We celebrated my son’s birthday and took him out to dinner. When I made reservations, I told them it was for a birthday. When we got there they had a birthday card for him signed by the staff. That was a nice touch. As always food was on point and delicious. Our waiter Harrison was very attentive and answered our questions and didn’t skip a beat with our orders.

Food was excellent however, server was inattentive. Restaurant was empty and and so were our drinks. I have had excellent service here in the past and was a little disappointed

Smoked salmon and Goats cheese sandwich with arugula was fantastic. Then French onion, Butternut and also one in our party had the lobster bisque. All were fantastic and very flavorful. Would definetly order again.

First time last time. We went to celebrate our anniversary. We got seated next to another room that had a large party. Kids were running up and down the walkway, at one point almost knocking over a servers tray. I Ordered the filet which came out well done. Then we realized the waitress never even asked about how I wanted it cooked. My wife ordered the steak and seafood special. Her Steak was also over cooked and the scallop was no bigger than a dime. Both Our drinks were left empty during our entire main course. We ordered the lava cake to share for dessert, also over cooked. No lava all cake. When you pay what you are for a meal there you should receive quality ambience, food and service.

Never a disappointment or a bad meal. Love the beef Wellington but tonight opted for a special which was three filet tips one with a grilled shrimp, scallop and crab cake on top with hollandaise sauce. Best clams casino appy and grilled shrimp we ever had. Cocktails are always good as a very extensive wine selection.
