We went for summerlicious. The duck breast was very well cooked and the quality of ingredients seemed high. Some of the dishes seemed kind of experimental and with pairings not completely thought through. The wine pairing recommended was pretty off.

A great spot! Incredible quality food and so meaningful to support students as they learn. The working environment seems much healthier than an average service kitchen with patient instructors and eager students. A bonus that tips go towards student scholarships and programming. Would definitely return!

Everything was delicious from the aperitifs to the entree and dessert. The service was also excellent. Water was cold and not too "chlorinated". The summerlicious prices were very enticing. My only suggestion is with the washroom. Please place a lavendar air freshener or decanter in there to cover that OLD BUILDING scent. I will be back.

Always enjoy dining here given its mission to provide front line training to those in the culinary arts program. I e always found the food excellent with inventive and moderately challenging menus for the students to prepare. (My duck breast was one of the best I’ve been served anywhere…pink and tender!) While service is not quite 100%, it is clear the students are trying their best to “perform” as they have experienced in their own fine dining outings or from TV/movies. Awkward but charming! This restaurant and the college’s little store for baked goods and pastries are great additions to my St Lawrence neighborhood…though challenging to the wasteline!

The 2 of us went for a Thursday lunch. We reserved a table ahead of time just in case. There were about 6 tables in total only, not too crowded and not too noisy either. Very good ambiance. Our waiter was explaining/ describing our orders and asked if we have any special needs or allergy, very attentive. We ordered drinks, appetizers and main dishes. We can tell a lot of attention went into preparing the ingredients and the plating. Worth a try!

went with a friend for lunch, service was quick and my glass was never empty before someone came to fill it. food was fast and beautiful

The food are beautiful and yummy. The service are excellent and the servers are very attentive and polite. The plating are so professional and the matching of food are very balanced. I appreciate that the Chefs' House supports local food and sustainability, this makes our lunch meaningful.
