It is with great pleasure and 20 years of traveling that we bring you our interpretation and flair of the American gusto to traditional European dishes. Great service, beautiful outdoor setting!! Ambiance was peaceful and cozy indoors. Need to go back when it isn’t raining for drinks and a fire-pit experience.

Lovely evening to celebrate. Smoked Old Fashioned drink was nicely presented. Very pricey for food spending $400 (including tip) for 3 people which was fine but could be a shock for those unaware. Two of us only had 1 cocktail each so we did not spend a lot on cocktails which is the usual suspect for an elevated dinner ticket. Ambience was acceptable. View was fine and we liked our table on the front porch.

Everything from beginning to end was amazing! We sat outside and had an amazing view of the lake as we sipped our cocktails. I had the the signature château cocktail, a refreshing melody of cucumber, elderflower, and vodka. It is the perfect summer drink. My boyfriend had the smoked old-fashioned and the presentation was flawless. The homemade bread and sweet butter was a great way to start. For appetizers, we shared the ceviche special and the Caesar salad. The croutons and bacon on the Caesar salad were amazing with the perfect amount of crunch. The ceviche had the right amount of citrus and soy to really bring the dish together. The fried onions, added a much welcomed crunch. Our dinner course couldn’t be outdone. The châteaubraind and the bleu cheese au gratin balanced each other nicely. The au gratin blue cheese potatoes were rich and savory. The chicken cordon bleu was served with a savory chicken gravy and creamy mashed potatoes. 10/10 all around, we can’t wait to go back!

We always enjoy going to the Château on the lake. Food was delicious, drinks were spectacular, The view is amazing and we had a great conversation with the owner, Buddy.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience dining The Chateau on the Lake! The ambience was great, the food was excellent, and the service was on point. We enjoyed our meal seated on porch, then transitioned outside by the fire pit for dessert. We cannot wait to go back!

Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at this BEAUTIFUL restaurant was a GREAT experience!!! Everything from the service to DELICIOUS food was EXCELLENT!! Thank you for making our evening so SPECIAL!!!

Service was exceptional, lots of nice ambiance, but… it’s pricey. Ordered rare, got med-med rare… same with partner. Very good tasting, still, but for the amount of food you get, it is expensive. Still, it has great surroundings, and is nice for a splurge.

This place is lovely and has an intimate feeling with a wonderful view of Lake George. The night we were there they were sold out of quite a few dishes and all sparkling wines. Otherwise I would have given them five stars! The shrimp cocktail was beyond delicious. Huge pieces of shrimp and a lovely sauce. The yellow tuna tartare was also a standout. I would definitely go back.
