Appetizers tasty and well prepared- tuna and street corn Mains ust o.k. Fish special had a rice cake, overcooked and not crisp Chicken and waffles acceptable Server good Wine list better than average

We had Four adults and a teen for Dinner, and had a meal which met every expectation. The service was attentive but not intrusive. All of the entrees were delicious and well presented. The drinks were whimsical and very well composed. The Halibut was fresh and moist, with a lovely presentation, as was the Branzino special. We had the peach crumble desert and the lava cake, both of which caped a fantastic meal.

Server was excellent. Made good and knowledgeable recommendations. Friendly but not intrusive. My steak was “just right.”Good value for the money.

Wonderful menu choices and service. Im vegetarian and my husband is GF, and we both had plenty of options. Flavorful, innovative menu! We’ll definitely be back.

It’s been our favorite for awhile. I was surprised to see popcorn on a fine dining menu. Menu is different now. I liked it before. Food is still awesome as always. A bit pricey, but I’m always willing to pay that if the quality & quantities are there.

The Cellar was highly recommended by a senior curator at the Corning Museum of Glass. His recommendation was definitely confirmed by our dinner. The wait staff was particularly warm an welcoming (Courtney), she was very helpful in our choice of a riesling from the Finger Lakes. My swordfish was extremely tender, flavorful, and cooked to the right temperature. My wifes' chicken and waffle was quite a bit more sophisticated than typical Southern versions we have tried (from Charleston to Charlottesville).

Best (and maybe only) gluten free fried chicken we’ve ever had. Amazing other dishes (many gluten, vegan, and allergy sensitive) in a seasonal, creative menu, and completely made of fresh and local ingredients. Our waitress, Lisa, was attentive, knowledgeable, and caring! If and when we come back, it will be heavily influenced by her… and that chicken.
