    We had a nice evening at the Capital Grille. Our food was very good and the service was personable. We would consider returning. With that being said, we weren't completely satisfied with our experience. For an appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 side dish our bill was just over $200 (no drinks, no dessert). While this was expected, we also expected the food to be exceptional and it wasn't. We expected the service to be exceptional and it also was just good but not exceptional. We frequent another restaurant outside of DC that costs half the price and the steak and seafood had much more flavor than we experienced here. I was expecting closer to a Michelin star experience at these prices, and sadly The Capital Grille fell short of that type of experience.

    Had a great dinner, all was perfect. The waiter Robert was aces!!! Great guy..helped us with food and wine selections..

    The food was great as usual...but the carbonated drinks needed a little work. Overall they not disappoint.

    Beautiful place and the service was excellent. Highly recommend. Food was the best and would visit again. It was our anniversary and they went out of there way to provide a great experience.

    It took a long time to get our soup, then our lunch. The server was very nice. I just don’t understand why it took so long. The lobster bisque was average, but the filet was outstanding. Hoping for a better experience, if there is a next time.

    While the Capitol Grille is known for its stakes, I love the scallops with lobster Risotto. It's a great dish and the portion size is large. Our server Nate Addlestone was excellent as well. We had great service.
